My work

Welcome! On this page you'll find a non-exhaustive selection of my previous work, including Digital shorts and interactive journeys where I led teams, and Broadcast projects I helped realise.

Building Your Way Out of Homelessness

I Pitched, Cast, Produced, and Shot this short film for BBC Stories. The story of businessman Jasper who set up a charity where rough sleepers like Paul could work their way into a home and start fresh.

The film connected massively with audiences, reaching over 7.5 million views. I received a phone call from Jasper not long after the film went up, telling me how many new donations had come streaming in because of it!

The Rap Game season 4

I DV Directed Season 4 of The Rap Game , BBC THREE's Flagship Show with the last season peaking at a viewership of 3 million viewers.

Alongside a team of other Producer/Directors, I interviewed , shot, and followed the naturally occurring stories to paint a full picture of the contributors and the journey they were going on.

David Attenborough- the Time is Now

I Produced/Directed this film for the World Wildlife Fund, Itza Media, and Sir David Attenborough- to accompany the Film David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet.

From transcripts of the original interview footage of A Life on Our Planet, I created a paper edit, stitching together parts of interview footage unused in the final feature to make a rousing call-to action short film.

Spite: a Documentary about Friendship

I Produced/Directed this film over Lockdown 1, wanting to put the time and distance to good use.

It has received fantastic feedback with mental health professionals now using it widely in their practices.

I produced and directed this short film for BBC Stories, their Digital Current Affairs strand, gaining unique access to a community wary of journalists.  Focusing on Martin's relationship with his daughter, the socio-political questions surrounding the ethics of squatting were woven subtly into the film.

This was a controversial film upon launch, receiving both acclaim and criticism- primarily directed at Martin.

Raising a child on a Squat

As Assistant Producer I worked across many different episodes of A Place in the Sun , Channel 4's Major Daytime show with a viewership of nearly half a million.

I interviewed , shot, and produced contributors for the initial segment at the top of over a dozen episodes, as well as an additional episode in Cyprus.

Inside Europe: Ten Years of Turmoil

I was a Researcher on this three-part BBC documentary on the European Council by acclaimed documentarian Norma Percy . The film includes interviews with many heads of state, which I helped gain access to, including Mark Rutte; Frans Timmermans; Yanis Varoufakis, Donald Tusk, and more.

The series was incredibly well received by critics, praised for its forensic reconstruction of political events.

Amazing Humans:
Drag Queen Story Time

I shot and set up episodes of BBC THREE's Amazing Humans including Drag Queen Story Time.

Working as a team of two, I found and set up stories,  interviewed contributors and shot footage to share uplifting stories for what was one of BBC THREE's Biggest Strands.

NY Times: America's Response to the Coronavirus

I was a Supporting Producer for this engaging look at how people from other countries saw the US' Response to the Coronavirus for the New York Times . The piece was Produced/Directed by Brendan Miller

The film has over 700.000 views at the moment and still rising.
