I'm a Director, Producer, and writer focused on global social and environmental issues.

 

Born in the Netherlands, I moved to London when I was selected for a Talentlab to develop my interactive documentary on empathy. At that point I still lived in the Netherlands- but the lab was only for UK residents. So I moved.

I was one of 12 filmmakers selected for the BBC's Production Trainee Scheme, where I produced shorts for Current Affairs; worked in Development; and filmed in Ethiopia.

More recently, I was integral to the conception of digital educational platform Itza Media, and with them worked to create materials for WWF and other major partners. My work here won the audience's choice award.

My work has been shown at BAFTA, the BBC, and has amassed millions of views online. I have worked on shoots in Singapore, India, Cyprus and many other countries.
